Preston

This extension project in Preston involved the careful updating and thoughtful expansion of the existing dwelling to significantly enhance both its overall functionality and aesthetics. It included the addition of a spacious new extension at the rear of the house, as well as a comprehensive reconfiguration of the layout throughout the existing rooms.

The design aimed to maintain the inherent character and charm of the original heritage house while simultaneously incorporating essential modern amenities that promote comfort and convenience. Furthermore, the project also involved the meticulous updating of the exterior of the building, which included the installation of new windows, thoughtful cladding choices, and an inviting timber deck, all designed to improve the connection from the interior of the house to the inviting backyard.

The ultimate goal of this project was to create a beautiful, functional living space that seamlessly blends the best elements of the old with the innovative new, providing a harmonious environment for contemporary living.
