Watsonia
The project located in Watsonia involved a thoughtful alteration and addition to an existing single-story residence. The design thoughtfully incorporated a modern aesthetic characterised by clean lines and a carefully selected neutral colour palette. The primary focus of this ambitious project was to create an inviting open-plan living space by strategically removing several walls and meticulously reconfiguring the interior layout.
The generous extension at the rear featured a brand new kitchen equipped with modern appliances and high-end finishes, as well as a spacious dining area and a comfortable living room. Notably, the living room boasts north-facing clerestory windows that ingeniously allow for natural light to flood the space, enhancing its warmth and appeal.
Additionally, the extension encompassed a new bathroom, laundry room, garage, and en-suite to accommodate the needs of the family. The exterior of the extension showcases contemporary metal standing seam cladding, complemented by stylish aluminium windows and doors. Overall, this transformative project redefined the existing residence into a modern, functional dwelling that perfectly suits the lifestyle needs of a contemporary family.
